Des Moines Metro Opera

Daveed is extremely excited to announce that he will spend this summer as a young artist at the prestigious apprentice artist program at Des Moines Metro Opera! 

"Celebrating its 44th year during the 2018 season, Des Moines Metro Opera's Apprentice Artist Program is a comprehensive career training program that bridges the gap between academic studies and a professional career in opera for some of the brightest and best talents in America. It is one of the oldest, largest and most respected programs of its kind in the United States."

As an apprentice artist, Daveed will participate as an ensemble member in the mainstage productions of J. Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (sung in English), Dvořák’s Rusulka (sung in Czech) and a 2nd Stages Series production of Copland’s The Tender Land. He will also sing in The Stars Of Tomorrow Gala Concert with the DMMO orchestra at the conclusion of the program.
