/2017-2018 Stony Brook Season Announced
Daveed is very excited to announce his repertoire for the 2017-2018 at Stony Brook University. He will be performing a wide range of repertoire from early Mozart to Benjamin Britten.
For Stony Brook's annual opera Gala, Daveed will be singing Des Grieux in the famous Act III finale of Manon . He will also be singing Ferrando in the opening trio from Cosi Fan Tutte, and Gomatz in rare performance of Mozart's early opera Zaïde.
In collaboration with Stony Brook's nationally acclaimed chamber music program, which includes an annually residency with the Emerson String Quartet, Daveed will be performing Benjamin Britten's Fifth Canticle "The Death of St. Narcissus" in collaboration with Harpist Rebekah Efthimiou, "Ten Blake Songs" for voice and Oboe by Ralph Vaughn Williams, and a special performance of "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Black Bird" by Louise Talma both which will feature Oboist Regina Cohn.
Daveed will also be singing the role of Alfred in Stony Brook Opera's production of Die Fledermaus. This fully staged opera will be directed by Brenda Harris and conducted by Maestro David Lawton and the Stony Brook University Orchestra.
